(Did you know "Tulelake" is one word?)
2007 Shriner's Continental Shoot
November 3, 2007
|We were invited back again this year to help
throw pheasants out for the Shriner's Contenental Shoot at Winema
Lodge in Tulelake, California. Last year we were on the
opposite side of the canyon and we threw both chukkars and pheasants
out. This year, the Herman's built us an impenetrable fortress
so we didn't get shot in the ass like last year....OUCH!
We would like to thank the Herman family for their hospitality. Tyler and Kaleigh got an opportunity to get more pheasant hunting in than they've ever had in their lives. Grandma Herman can cook, too!!

(Trish was afraid of the live birds so she packed this dead one around all morning)
This hen wasn't leaving the fort....huh uh!!

It's been so long since we saw bucks down
where I live, I had to
take these shots. These bucks let us walk within 15 - 20 yards of them.

This four point was looking to kick the three point's ass...
So he did
